Film photography has a way of documenting weddings in a way that is unique, timeless, and authentic. The grain, the colors, the imperfections all add a layer of artistry and nostalgia to your gallery that turns fleeting moments into heirlooms. So when Olivia reached out saying she wanted photos that were “vintage-y, mostly unposed, and gentle, forgiving light…. Emphasis on faith, family, and friends!” I knew we were a great match!
She gave me the crash course on what an Orthodox wedding is like, and we worked closely together on how she wanted their day captured. I absolutely loved how ornate the interior of the church felt. The whole space had a reverent, yet warm and intimate energy. The space was perfect for experimenting with Tungsten film. You could tell I had a love affair with the chandeliers!
The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, laughter, and celebration. I loved capturing the festivities on the handy Kodak disposable!
