If you’re dreaming of a vintage garden wedding, look no further. We had the pleasure of collaborating to create a vintage-inspired editorial shoot that brought together some of Austin’s best wedding vendors including florists, rental companies, bakeries, makeup artists, and photographers.
A vintage wedding calls for vintage mediums, so I busted out my Canon AE1 with its 50mm 1.8 lens and a Kodak disposable. I love the nostalgic feel of film, and love how the photo-taking process makes me slow down and be super intentional with each shot. That natural grain and color cast is something that a DSLR camera could never achieve no matter how much work you do in post.
