Jordan and Wesley’s engagement session took place at Hill Country Bliss which is just about 45 minutes outside of Austin. It’s the very place they’re tying the knot next month!
It’s always exciting to hear from couples who are drawn to the documentary style of photography for their wedding. When Jordan inquired looking for a photographer who could capture “the real moments of the wedding”, and that she wants to “look back at my photos and see all the raw real moments of that day”, I knew we were the right fit!
Like Jordan and Wesley, many couples are having weddings where their families are meeting for the very first time, so seeing photos of those moments of connection is truly special for couples and something I make sure to capture.
For their engagement session, Jordan chose Hill Country Bliss as the location. It is located on 145 acres, and can accommodate 300 guests for dining and entertaining. I love the blue expansive skies, and fields speckled with old oak trees. We chatted and got to know each other, walked around the property, and captured some silly and romantic moments.
Shot on a mix of digital and Kodak 100 Gold Film.
