Lauren & Sterling’s engagement session took place during golden hour at McKinney Falls State Park, which is about a 15 minute drive outside of Austin. I love this location for the variety of backdrops and activities to do. You are well-immersed in nature, so it’s a great opportunity to recharge your batteries and get out of the city.
These two have known each other since middle school!! A love like this is rare, and what a joy to get to capture their story. I used my canon r5 and canon 35mm film camera to document our time together.
They had a three-part engagement session that started with taking a walk through the grassy field, having a picnic, and then going for a swim! Lauren & Sterling both share a love for good food, so they laid down a blanket to enjoy a snack and a glass of wine! It was a hot summer day, so we ended the session by jumping into the water. The moon was above us, which made the evening feel even more romantic. I’m in love with how their photos turned out!
