Brooke & Drew’s intimate, backyard wedding took place at an Airbnb on the outskirts of Austin, TX. I absolutely love non-traditional weddings like these!! There put many unique, personal touches throughout the day. Your wedding is all about you, no matter what the “shoulds” and “supposed to’s” of the industry are.
Brooke and Drew had a table set up where they invited their guests to make and exchange kandi bracelets, which are commonly part of music festivals and rave culture. They represent the values of unity, peace, love, and respect, which resonate deeply with Brooke and Drew.
Bits and pieces of a sparkly, celebratory disco vibe were sprinkled throughout, enmeshed with the cowboy aesthetic of Texas. A genius wedding hack that Brooke implemented was having a cake at each table for her guests, so that everyone could cut cake together with the bride and groom!
This was both Brooke & Drew’s second marriage and they both had kids. As a girly with divorced parents herself, it was so beautiful witnessing how much love both these families have for each other, and the commitments both sides made to each other and their children.
We loved, we danced, we celebrated 📸🪩 So much love for this couple. Congrats to Brooke & Drew for their beautiful marriage and union of their families. Definitely got teary-eyed editing these ones!
